A Merry Occasion Chapel has been the site for approximately 100 ceremonies a year since opening in 1991. The chapel features stained glass windows, a rustic open beamed ceiling, and 24 wooden pews seating up to 150 guests. It is fully decorated with silk flowers, candelabras, pew bows, and a tulle and ivy-covered arch at the entrance. The acoustics are wonderful for music, and there is a Roland keyboard and CD/Tape/PA system available for your use with the traditional wedding march music. We are not a church, therefore you may have any civil or religious ceremony by the judge or minister of your choice. There is also a private dressing room for the bridal party.
Chapel Rental Fees: $150.00 per hour. Prime times (most Fridays and Saturdays after 4:30pm) must also book a reception. Take into consideration how much time will be needed for dressing and taking photos. Ceremonies normally only take about 20 minutes.
Rehearsal Fee: $50.00 for separate weekday practice, unless booking prenuptial dinner as well.
Officiant/Ordained Resident Minister Fee: $100.00 - Facility owner Merry K. Johnson is an ordained Reverend of the Universal Life Church and available for all ceremonies.
